Honest Practice Standards
Albovision aims to promote love, kindness, teen involvement, and free speech in the Eurovision, Junior Eurovision, and Eurovision Young Musicians communities. Here are some upfront policies we have that all our writers must agree to. Comments must also adhere by this policy, or they will be deleted. (Note: Posts and Comments are different) This list is constantly added to, and we are open to suggestions.
Language Policies:
- All posts must be approved by admin to ensure that they are abiding by the Honest Practice Standards
- Admin should not sensor writer opinions
- Admin has the responsibility to fact-check information to avoid misinformation
- A final copy of the post should be sent to the writer, and the writer must approve the final post before it is posted.
- No words containing hatred and profanity should be used in ANY sort of post
- Opinions are different than hatred. It is one thing to share an opinion, it is another thing to share a personal attack
- Any bigoted comments, or comments that contain sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, ableist, antisemitic and/or xenophobic remarks will be deleted.
- this also applies to posts, which all go through review before posting
- No unconfirmed rumors should EVER be posted to Albovision
Photo Usage
- All photos must be cited with a photo link
- Writers and editors should use relatively modest photos of artists if possible
- Reasoning: There is a recent rise in corrupt and illegal pornography, and we do not want our blog to contribute to it. Albovision preaches internet safety, and refuses to contribute to any sort of emotional or physical harm.
- If for any reason the original publisher or photographer wants the photo taken down, admin will remove and replace it immediately.
